Peter
was born in Calcutta and worked for BHP for many years in the Kimberleys. He
has travelled the world extensively and now runs his 22 year old industrial
supply business to mine sites in Africa, Middle-East, Central Asia, Mongolia
and S E Asia. Since 2011 he has been the Honorary Consul for Mongolia in
Western Australia. His wife Barbara and their 3 daughters Laura, Meghan &
Narah were all born in Calcutta, India and all the family have lived in Perth,
WA for 38 years. Barbara was a teacher.
Ochirbat Naidansuren (Ogi) is a Mongolian artist, art teacher and scholar. He was born in Mongolia in 1964. Obtained his art education in Mongolia, Bulgaria and employed as lecturer, head of art department at the Mongolian State Pedagological University from 1992 to 2003. Immigrated to Australia in 2005. Ochirbat currently tutors at JETA program in the art department at Curtin University where he completed his doctoral studiy recently.
